We were pleased to be joined by nearly 500 friends and supporters last week at Coro New York's Lewis Rudin Awards Dinner. It was a privilege to honor the contributions of remarkable New Yorkers and organizations including Manhattan District Attorney Robert Morgenthau, Tom Bernstein, Jonelle Procope and New York Life Insurance Company.
As importantly, we were able to highlight the contributions of Coro alumni like Cheryl Green Rosario, Director of Philanthropy of American Express, who is helping arts groups across the city manage in this tough economy, and Jesse Taylor, who runs the Food Bank's West Harlem Community Kitchen. They, along with the 2,000 alumni who are this city's Commissioners and CEOs, activists and entrepreneurs, represent Coro's true impact.
